Introducing SexTech at IT Arena 2018

June 4, 2018

Last year, the IT Arena organizers made a courageous step – invited Alexander Nix, the former CEO at Cambridge Analytica as the keynote speaker of the conference. CA was responsible for scandalous Brexit and Trump’s win in the presidential election in the USA. This year, Сambridge Analytica was involved in another scandal – personal data breach of 50 mln Facebook users. While it is still a secret who will keynote the event in 2018, we’re ready to announce the first batch of speakers, who will definitely get the attention of IT Arena attendees, that will take place on September 28-30 at Lviv Arena Stadium.

It’s time to talk about things that are not typically discussed, at least in Ukraine. Even the most progressive IT events avoid this topic. Yes, we mean Sextech. Experts estimate that by 2020 the industry will be worth $ 50 billion. Despite such optimistic forecasts, the field of pleasure wasn’t the most dynamic tech industry until recently. This year, IT Arena will offer its attendees a unique opportunity to learn more about the topic. Among IT Arena speakers – Stephanie Alys, co-founder & Chief Pleasure Officer at MysteryVibe, a British manufacturer of sex toys. Stephanie explores the impact of technology on human interactions in the most intimate areas and embodies tech insights in smart sex products.

In her speech, Stephanie will talk about how difficult it is to find professionals for the development of sex products and receive funding from investors, existing sex taboos in the progressing tech world, and a special approach to marketing.
