Matt is a global design leader, educator, and practitioner who has spent the last 17 years discovering solutions at the intersection of technology, business, and design.
Currently leading the global design strategy and operations at SoftServe, managing a team of design directors and practitioners specializing in design thinking, research, strategy, human-centered product, and service design, and design ops in Ukraine, UK, USA, Germany, Bulgaria, and Poland.
A passionate design educator, regularly teaching as an adjunct professor of product and service design at universities.
Originally trained as a scientist at Rhodes College with degrees in biology and psychology, later formalizing his design education with an MFA from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.
A regular speaker at conferences and events about the design industry, organizational design, design ops and his own personal journey as a human and a designer.

We’ll discuss how we can leverage design ethics as a way to openly acknowledge and own the responsibilities that we have to our fellow humans. And we’ll explore how we might leverage AI to enable healthier digital well-being without sacrificing our humanity in the process.
