In our latest post, we explored how businesses contribute to the global fight against the pandemic. With the COVID-19 active cases and death toll surging every day, IT Arena is also not going to stand idly while the world is struggling to save human lives.
Starting today and until the end of quarantine in Ukraine, 50% of the proceeds of each IT Arena ticket will be directed to the United for Health initiative to help combat the spread of coronavirus in Lviv – the event’s host city.
United for Health is an emergency project of Lviv IT Cluster, which aims to support the community of Lviv and Lviv region in the fight against the pandemic. The first step of the initiative is organizing mass testing of citizens to identify the presence of the virus. The next stages of the Lviv IT Cluster’s project include raising funds for the city’s medical facilities’ emergency needs and creating the Coronavirus Fund. All money of the Fund will be distributed to the facilities determined by the Coronavirus emergency operation centers in Lviv and Lviv region.
