IT industry is highly innovative and its defining characteristic is the rapid and sustaining growth in the changing and challenging environment. It is cross-border and involves complex translation work associated with creation of intellectual property, transfer of rights and technologies.

Therefore, the workshop will focus on the issues related to protection of intellectual property and contracts associated with exploitation of IP.

The sale or license of a patent, copyright, trademark, trade name, and other similar intellectual property right by agreement has tax consequences.

Thus, the facilitators will give the insights and share with attendees the best practices of international tax structuring in the context of the global deoffshorization process, implementation of the Anti-BEPS (Base erosion and profit shifting) measures, legislation on Controlled Foreign Companies in Ukraine etc. IP Boxes, preferential tax regimes for IT in foreign jurisdictions.
