Ahana Datta is a researcher at University College London and a Visiting Fellow at the Digital Life Initiative at Cornell Tech. She serves on the board at Privacy International, and is a strategic advisor to UK Research and Innovation on digital security and resilience. Previously, she was the Financial Times’ cyber chief, and served in the UK Government in senior cybersecurity positions. Her editorials have appeared in the Financial Times and the Columbia Journalism Review.
