The founder of Circuit Launch, the largest garage for hardware and robotic startups in Silicon Valley. Born in Brazil, Alex went to a technical high school for mechanical engineering, then to college to become a lawyer. He joined the US Army as a watercraft engineer, serving missions in Japan, Dominican Republic and multiple training missions with the Navy Seals. In 2017, he founded Circuit Launch, aiming to bring electronic and robotic engineers under one roof, which became one of the largest coworking facilities for hardware and robotics startups in the United States. Circuit Launch is the residence of 70 startups, which collectively have raised over $50M within the last 18 months. Recently Alex also co-founded Mechlabs.ai, a project-based mechatronic engineering program.
