Alona Zhuzha
Alona Zhuzha is an expert in digital transformation of public procurement processes and supply chain digitalization.
For over 5 years, she has been leading the development of comprehensive national-level IT systems that ensure transparency, efficiency, and systematization of the procurement process.
In December 2023, she headed the IT department at the State Operator for non-lethal acquisition, a newly established procurement agency under the Ministry of Defense. Together with her team, she developed DOT-Chain, an IT system that transformed logistics support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine by digitizing the entire food supply process for the military and accelerating operations fourfold.
Prior to this, starting in May 2023, she was part of the public procurement reform project team at the Office for Support of changes under the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, where she provided expert support in creating the IT architecture for managing procurement and supply needs for the Ministry of Defense.
From October 2018 to April 2023, she held leadership positions at the state-owned enterprise “Medical Procurement of Ukraine,” where she coordinated the implementation of advanced procurement tools and the development of IT systems, including e-Stock and MedData, for effective management of medical supplies and pharmaceutical inventories.
