Geir Egil Myhre is the president of Vector Software Ltd, and has over 30 years experience from the IT industry.
He has co-founded companies including Jupiter Systems and Pivotic Consulting, and has extensive international experience working as a management consultant for companies including GKN Aerospace, TietoEvry, Otrum, Kahoot!, and others.
His main interest and focus lies at risk management in the intersection between technology and strategy, and he serves as advisor to private equity and venture capital funds including Newday, Equip Capital, Strawberry Equity, and others.
He has 15 years of experience on the client side of companies delivering IT services remotely from regions around the world, including from Ukraine, working for companies such as Bluegarden, Storebrand, Gard, and others.
He is a professional external board member for a number of companies including Sharecat and Dharma Tech, and has also served on the board of the Norwegian Computer Association.
He has held lectures at academic institutions including BI School of Business, and has been a key-note speaker at conferences and events including Rosing awards and IFIP.
He holds a MSc degree, and lives in Oslo, Norway, with his wife and two children.
