Ivan is an IT entrepreneur with experience in the fintech and defense tech sectors, who joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine in 2022. In 2018, he founded the fintech startup Finmap, a financial accounting tool for entrepreneurs, which raised $1.2 million from European investors in early 2022. Ivan leverages his battlefield experience to develop hardware and software products for long-range reconnaissance in the defense technology startup Buntar Aerospace, which he co-founded with his team in 2023. He also initiated the creation of the Ukrainian accelerator for defense startups, Defence Builder, which he launched in April 2024 with his Buntar Aerospace partner Kateryna Bezsudna.
