Jan is a co-founder of Double Tap Ltd (DTI), a company that invests in and develops Ukrainian Defence Tech startups. He is an experienced investor and finance professional with 25 years as a CEO/CFO in different companies, venture capital firms, hedge funds etc.
Before his career in finance, he also gained first hand experience from conflict areas and war zones in Africa and in Bosnia – as a soldier and as a civilian.
He has been active in Ukraine since April 2022, e.g. testing unmanned combat/intelligence solutions and electronic warfare equipment on the front lines.
On IT Arena 2023, Double Tap Ltd was founded together with Oles Khudoba and Mikko-Pekka Hanski. DTI was recently listed by Forbes as one of the key players in Ukrainian defence ecosystem and is committed to fight alongside with Ukraine to win the war.
