Patrick Burt has an extensive career as a high-tech entrepreneur, technology investor, elected official, and environmental policy leader. He was the founder and CEO of Acteron Corp for 25 years, the leading Silicon Valley provider of advanced surface engineering services. Subsequently, Patrick co-founded two medical technology companies. For 40 years, he has been an industry leader and expert on environmental policy at regional, state, and national levels. He served on the Palo Alto Planning and Transportation Commission and as Mayor of Palo Alto in 2010, 2016, and 2022. He has led Palo Alto’s renowned climate protection and environmental initiatives.
