Since 2017 Yegor has popularized the concept and legal use of Ethical Hackers, particularly for critical infrastructure objects. He is also, a co-author of several international working papers on legislative cybersecurity reforms in Ukraine.  On February 24, 2022, Yegor helped to recruit over 1000 cybersecurity expert volunteers to support Ukraine’s cyber defense in cooperation with the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, and the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, also helping create a comprehensive national cybersecurity strategy. Dr. Yegor Aushev holds a Ph.D in High Energy Physics from Germany and worked at DESY and Fermilab prior to his career in cybersecurity.
