Oksana Berezhna is the General Director of the Directorate for Innovation and Science Liaison with the Real Sector of the Economy at the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
She also serves as Ukraine’s COST National Coordinator and acts as an Observer in the Program Committee “European Innovation Council and European Innovation Ecosystems” within the European Union’s Horizon Europe Framework Programme for Research and Innovation, Member of the Ukrainian National Committee for UNESCO’s Information for All Programme (IFAP).
With a PhD in Law and extensive expertise in innovation policy, Dr. Berezhna is recognized as one of the leading policymakers driving the modernization of Ukraine’s innovation ecosystem. Her work focuses on strengthening science–business cooperation, aligning Ukraine’s research and innovation policies with European standards, and fostering international partnerships to enhance the country’s global competitiveness.
