Taras Shevchenko is the Head of Government Relations for Eastern Europe and Central Asia at Glovo. He has over 15 years of experience in government relations, public policy, and legislative work.
Taras began his career as a lawyer and later spent more than six years in the Ukrainian Parliament, specializing in the implementation of EU directives and the development of a favorable business environment. Before joining Glovo, he led GR efforts in the food industry, advancing the alignment of Ukrainian legislation with EU standards. Since 2021, he has built Glovoβs GR function from scratch across five countries in the region, ensuring the companyβs interests are effectively represented at the level of governments and key regulators.
He is a graduate of the International Law program at Lazarski University (Warsaw) and the Government Relations program at the Kyiv School of Economics. Taras also teaches Government Relations at CDTO Campus and the Kyiv School of Economics. He is a co-founder and board member of the Ukrainian Association of Lobbying.
