Cory Simpson leads Gray Space Strategies and the Institute for Critical Infrastructure Technology, advising technology leaders on cybersecurity, government affairs, geopolitical risk, and markets.
A military lawyer for 23 years, Cory served more than a decade with Airborne and Special Forces, including 19 months in combat. At U.S. Cyber Command and NSA, he advised JTF-ARES before helping run its global operations against ISIS. At the U.S. Cyberspace Solarium Commission, he helped reshape U.S. cyber strategy and governance, including establishing the Office of the National Cyber Director. Across administrations, Cory has advised presidents and worked with the West Wing, National Security Council, Congress, and Fortune 100 companies—helping leaders shape policy, earn trust, and turn technology into a strategic advantage.
