Dr. William “Dollar” Young
Dr. William “Dollar” Young, Jr. is a leading expert in Electronic Warfare driven to empower teams to thrive in volatile, complex, and ambiguous environments through critical, creative, and systems-oriented thinking. Dr. Young was a career U.S. Air Force (USAF) Electronic Warfare Officer and strategist with 2,500 flying hours and multiple command tours, including the USAF’s 350th Spectrum Warfare Wing – where he led development & delivery of advanced EW and AI/ML capabilities for all USAF weapon systems and platforms.
Dr. Young is a Research Associate Professor at Syracuse University, spearheading cooperative R&D with the National Security Agency. He also serves on DARPA’s Information Science and Technology Study Group, helping to safeguard the U.S. from technological surprise. Additionally, Dollar is a Senior Advisor to Green Flag Ventures, supporting their portfolio companies’ development and growth. Dr. Young holds a PhD from MIT, four Master’s degrees, and an Engineering Science BS with a focus on Electrical and Aeronautical Engineering.
