Illia Filipov is the Co-Founder and CEO of EdEra, a leading Ukrainian edtech company. He holds a Master’s degree in Quantum Physics from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. In 2014, together with his team, he founded EdEra, which over the past ten years has become one of the key players in the modern education market in Ukraine.
The company’s team of over 50 experts develops full-cycle online products — from R&D and production to communications and PR. Among EdEra’s most impactful projects are Diia.Education and CVK.Prosvita, both of which have already gained international recognition.
Beyond his work at EdEra, Illia contributes to the development of distance education as an expert in OSCE projects in Ukraine, an advisor to the Deputy Minister of Economy, and a lecturer at the Ukrainian Leadership Academy. His achievements have been recognized in Kyiv Post’s “30 under 30” ranking, and in 2024, together with EdEra, he was included in Forbes “Next 250” list of the most promising small and medium-sized businesses. Illia is also a graduate of the Aspen Institute.
EdEra’s portfolio includes prominent projects with international organizations, as well as governmental and non-governmental institutions, ranging from UNICEF to NABU.
