Mykyta Knysh
Mykyta Knysh was born in the city of Kupiansk, Kharkiv region. He is Ukrainian, a citizen of Ukraine.
Since the beginning of 2014, he served in the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU). In 2015, for his direct participation in the anti-terrorist operation, he was awarded the status of a combatant. At the end of 2015, he completed military service in the ranks of the SBU with the rank of lieutenant, transferred to the reserve of SBU officers, and in 2016 co-founded his own company ProtectMaster (LLC “ProtectMaster Solutions”), where he has been the director until the present time. In the same year, he became one of the founders of the international cybersecurity forum HackIT, which became an annual event. In 2015, he was an assistant to the rector of the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics on cybersecurity issues.
In 2017, he became the head of the information security department in the international cybersecurity startup Hacken (Estonia), where he worked until October 2018, after which he left the project with his team. From October 2017 to 2019, he was an external advisor to the Administration of the President of Ukraine.
In 2019, he co-founded the international company HackControl (Poland), where he serves as director. From 2015 to 2019, he conducted free training and workshops for employees of the Cyber Police, NABU, SBU, border service officers, students of the SBU Faculty of the Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University, and several other government institutions.
He is a co-founder of the company E-Discovery Technologies Limited (Nigeria). From 2015 to the present, he has been an active speaker at Ukrainian and international cybersecurity forums. Since 2015, he has been actively engaged in journalism, having his own columns in leading national publications such as Censor.net, Economic Pravda, Ukrainska Pravda, Gordon, and several other media outlets. He runs his own video blog together with the independent media group Nakipelo and has a personal YouTube channel called HackYourMom.
Since the beginning of the second active phase of the war, he has been leading the “Cyber Troops” HackYourMom project, where he involves hackers and hacktivists in the cyberwar against the so-called rf.
