
Przemyslaw Zielinski
Przemyslaw Zielinski is a PhD student in Prof. Christian Mendl’s Quantum Computing Group at the Chair of Scientific Computing at the Technical University of Munich (TUM). His research focuses on high-performance computing and quantum technologies, with a particular interest in large-scale simulations of quantum systems, numerical methods, and the development of computational tools for next-generation quantum applications.
He holds a master’s degree in Physics from the University of Warsaw. His work spans both fundamental and applied aspects of quantum computing, as well as the development of GPU-accelerated sparse solvers in the Eigen library, in collaboration with researchers at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. He has conducted research on the numerical optimization of quantum information protocols at the hardware level, particularly for state transfer and high-speed quantum communication systems.
Alongside his academic research, he has worked in experimental quantum computing and quantum communication environments as a data engineer at the Institute of Science and Technology Austria (ISTA) and the Institute for Quantum Optics and Quantum Information (IQOQI) in Vienna, where he developed data-processing software for experimental platforms. He is particularly interested in bridging large-scale scientific computing, quantum algorithms, and experimental quantum systems.
