This Privacy Policy is an integral part of the agreement between you (the “User”) and us regarding the use of this website(s) and the IT Arena app. This Policy explains who we are, for what purpose and how we process personal data, what rights you have by providing us with any information about yourself, and how to contact us if necessary. We reserve the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy at any time and for any reason, so we recommend that you visit this Privacy Policy regularly to ensure that you are up-to-date with the latest version. The date of the last update of the Policy will be indicated in the “Last updated” line at the beginning of this page.

We are the IT Arena team. Our contact details and address are provided at the end of this Policy. We are the owner and controller of the personal data that we process in accordance with this Policy (except where otherwise stated).
Whose personal data do we process?
We may process your personal data if:
- You are our customer, client, participant of the IT Arena event (or other related events) or supplier (or are interested in becoming one).
- You use our services or products that we have created (including visiting our social media, events, etc.).
- You work for our customer, client or supplier, or for someone who uses our services or products that we have developed (including visiting our social media, events, etc.).
- You are a customer to whom we want to tell about our services, events or offer to participate in them.
- You are our contractor or are interested in working with us.
- You are a user of the IT Arena application.
We do not collect or process Personal Data provided by persons under the age of 16.
What sort of personal data about you do we process?
We may process your personal data obtained directly from you or from any other source. Such data may include:
- Your name and surname, patronymic.
- Information about who you work for, your department and your job responsibilities.
- Your address, telephone number, bank payment card details (cardholder name, number, expiry date and CVV code), application login details (login, password), location details, , email address or other contact details (your personal or work details, depending on the nature of our relationship with you or the person you work for).
- Personal information obtained in the course of communicating with you by phone, email, through our website and IT Arena app, social media or otherwise. This information also includes information we receive or you provide to us when you use the website and IT Arena app: by registering to receive our newsletter, providing us with goods or services, inquiring about our services, placing an order, participating in a contest, event, promotion or survey, or contacting us to report a problem.
- Information relating to transactions involving us, you or the person you work for.
- Other personal data that we need to process for the purpose of entering into or performing a contract with you or the person for whom you work (for example, the right to process work information or consent to the processing of personal data).
- Information about events or activities to which you or persons related to you have been invited, as well as your personal information and preferences, if such data is necessary for the organisation and management of these events.
- Your personal information that you provide to us, or that we obtain in any way during your visits (for example, if you are captured in a photo, video during an event or register when attending any IT Arena activity or event element (online or offline), or you provide us with your contact details for online registration).
- Personal information you provide to us when you use the website and IT Arena app, including:
Technical information, including the Internet Protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet, your registration information, browser type and version, time zone, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform;
- Information about your visit, including full unique resource locators (URLs), your history of visits to and movements through our website and IT Arena app, your history of leaving our website (including date and time), the services you viewed or searched for, page response times, loading errors, length of time spent on certain pages, information about page activity (such as scrolling, clicking and hovering), how you left the page, and the phone number or social media icon you used to contact us.
- Standard data that we automatically receive in the IT Arena application as a result of the User’s use of the application (unique mobile device identifier, IP address of the connection session, information about the mobile device’s operating system, browser, etc.).
- User profile photo.
We do not collect or process such categories of Personal Data as data on racial or ethnic origin, political, religious or ideological beliefs, membership in political parties and trade unions, convictions to criminal punishment, as well as data related to the health, sexual life, genetic data of Users.
What do we do with your personal data?
We process your personal data for the following purposes:
- Entering into and performing a contract with you or the person you work for to:
- provide services to customers or other users of these services;
- receive goods and services from suppliers;
- manage our relationships with customers, suppliers and other users of our services. Where you
or the person you work for may be a customer, user or supplier of goods or services for the
above purposes.
- Advertising and sales, as well as providing information about our services.
- Administering our website and IT Arena app in accordance with the terms of the contract and for internal
operations, including troubleshooting, data analysis, testing, research, statistics and surveys.
- Improving our website and IT Arena app to ensure that we present content in the most efficient way for you and
your computer.
- Ensuring the security of our website, IT Arena app and other systems.
- Evaluate and understand the effectiveness of the advertising we show you and others, and to
deliver relevant advertising.
- Providing advice and recommendations on services that may be of interest to you or the person
you work for that meet your preferences, where appropriate.
The processing of Personal Data is based on the following principles:
– the lawfulness of the purposes and methods of processing Personal Data and good faith;
– Compliance of the purposes of processing Personal Data with the purposes determined and stated when collecting Personal Data.
To whom do we disclose your personal data?
We may share your personal data with:
- Any members of our association, which includes our member companies and their subsidiaries.

- our business partners, customers, suppliers and subcontractors to perform any contract we enter into or other agreements that arise in the normal course of working with you or the person you work for;

We may share data collected through our website or IT Arena app with:

What are the legal grounds for processing your personal data?

legitimate interests do not override your interests or the fundamental rights and freedoms that require the protection of personal data (most circumstances where we process your personal data due to the nature of the relationship we have with the person you work for will fall into this category).
How long do we process personal data?
We will process personal data only for as long as is necessary for the purpose(s) for which it was originally collected, after which it will be deleted or archived, unless it is necessary to continue processing to comply with legal obligations to which we are subject or for other legitimate and lawful purposes. If you are our client or potential client, we will process personal data for up to three years from the date of collection, unless a different period is required for the purpose of processing. Processing of the User’s Personal Data is carried out without any time limit, in any legal way, including in personal data information systems with or without the use of automation tools.
Where do we process personal data?
If we receive personal data in the course of providing the services, we will take all reasonable steps to ensure that all relevant security measures applicable to it are implemented and that it is securely protected in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
We adhere to generally accepted industry standards to protect personal information provided to us, both during data transmission and after receipt. All processed personal data is stored on secure servers. Any payment transactions are encrypted using appropriate technology. If we have provided you with (or you have set) a password that gives you access to certain parts of our website, IT Arena app or systems, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of that password. We ask that you do not share this password with anyone.
Unfortunately, the transmission of information over the Internet is not completely secure. While we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of data transmitted to our website or IT Arena app, so any transmission is at your own risk. We use all possible methods of collecting, storing and processing Personal Data and security measures to protect against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of personal information, User’s name, transaction information and data stored by us. Any Personal Data you provide is protected during transmission to prevent any unauthorised use of your data by third parties. Our security measures are constantly being modernised based on new technological developments.
Limitations of this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy does not apply to the actions and Internet resources of third parties.
The transfer of personal information when you visit third-party websites or applications, even if our website or IT Arena app contains links to them, is not covered by this Privacy Policy.
We are not responsible for the actions of other websites or applications. The process of collecting and transmitting personal information when you visit these websites and/or use these applications is governed by the Personal Information Protection Documents or similar documents available on the websites of these companies.
